About Lauren Going
Lauren Going, LCSW-C 500-hr RYT is a holistic psychotherapist & yoga instructor located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Lauren holds a BA from Marymount Manhattan College and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland. Lauren is also a 500-hour trained yoga instructor and has studied with Kim Manfredi, Lynn Matthews, Rod Stryker, Todd Norian, Desiree Rumbaugh, Gary Kraftsow, Shiva Rea, and Seane Corn. She is a certified Lifeforce yoga instructor having trained with Amy Weintraub and served as an assistant in her workshops. Lauren holds an Ayurvedic Yoga specialist from the Himalayan Institute as well as certification as a Yoga Nidra facilitator through the Amrit Institute. Lauren specializes in trauma sensitive yoga as well as yoga for depression and anxiety.
Lauren holds advanced trainings in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior therapy), Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), Hypnosis, and Life Coaching.
Lauren began the study of Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and Yoga as a junior in college while on a semester abroad in Bodh Gaya, India. She continued this path studying with the Venerable Khandro Rinpoche, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, and Shambhala International. Post-college, Lauren worked for the Shambhala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado and then relocated to Boudanath, Nepal to work and study at the Ranjung Yeshe Institute.
Lauren has worked with Baltimore city youth as an advocate through the Choice Program and the CollegeBound Foundation. She has worked for the Department of Social Services (DSS) and Sinai Hospital Family Violence Program. While working with survivors of domestic violence, Lauren began to hone her skills as a trauma therapist. She became clear that to truly heal, talking about problems is not enough. One has to heal at the somatic, emotional, and spiritual levels.
About Kelsey Pellarin
Kelsey Pellarin, LMSW, is a holistic, integrative psychotherapist in Baltimore, Maryland.
Kelsey considers it a privilege to accompany others on their path to realizing their own wholeness. She supports people in addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, spirituality, relationships, family of origin, sexuality, gender, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach integrates the mindfulness training she received living in Buddhist monasteries in Nepal and the United States, and the somatic training she received completing her yoga teacher certification in India. Kelsey has also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Nonviolent/Compassionate Communication, Psychodynamics, Attachment Theory, and Reiki.
Kelsey believes that we are all blessed with an innate wisdom, creativity, and compassion, as well as a natural capacity for growth and connection. She engages people in a process of healing with a sense of gentleness, playfulness, and warmth. Using a collaborative approach, Kelsey supports people to move towards living their truest values and realizing all that is already within themselves.
